End Malaria for Good. In just four words, the theme for World Malaria Day 2017 captures everything the global health community is working towards.
World Malaria Day gives us a chance to spotlight global achievements in malaria prevention, diagnosis and treatment – illness prevented or halted, and lives saved.
The World Health Organization reports that more than 663 million cases of malaria have been averted since 2001, and that global malaria mortality dropped by 29% between 2010 and 2015.
Early diagnosis and treatment of malaria saves lives. FIND works with partners across the research, development, policy-making and programme implementation spectrum to support the development and delivery of better tests for the people who need them.
