Symposium for Emerging Viral Diseases 2019
The Geneva Centre for Emerging Viral Diseases is dedicated to serving at the interface between fundamental research, translational, clinical and diagnostic virology with a close connection to public & global health. This 2nd symposium on Understanding Emerging Viral Diseases and their Public Health Impact is organized in 12 sessions, with a total of 30 speakers from more than 12 countries, and aims to cover the complete picture of virus emergence, and the challenges that arise from this. FIND’s Director of Emerging Threats will be co-chairing Session II: Emerging Viruses in Africa on 12 April 2019. More below and in the programme.
