Andrew Jack and Bob More join FIND's Board of Directors

Geneva, Switzerland – 9 June 2015 – FIND has announced the approval of two new members of its Board of Directors: Mr Andrew Jack, Editor at the Financial Times, and Mr Bob More, who most recently led the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation’s global health venture capital initiative from 2013-2015. Both will join the Board effective 1 July 2015.

Andrew Jack has worked as a journalist for the Financial Times since 1990. He runs the curated content team, which picks the best news and analysis from the Financial Times and the rest of the web. He was previously deputy editor of the analysis section, pharmaceuticals correspondent, Moscow bureau chief, Paris correspondent, financial correspondent, general reporter and corporate reporter. He is author of the books Inside Putin’s Russia and The French Exception as well as numerous specialist reports, and has appeared on the BBC and other media outlets. Mr Jack is a trustee of SciDev.net, a non-profit media group covering science and development.

Bob More was a Senior Advisor for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation from 2013-2015, working on programme-related investments and leading the Foundation’s global health venture capital initiative. Prior to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Mr More was a partner at Frazier Healthcare from 2008-2013 and before that a partner at Domain Associates, having joined the firm in 1996 as a Kauffman Fellow and becoming a partner in 2000. From 1997-1998, he served as the Chief Operating Officer of Small Molecule Therapeutics. Prior to attending business school, he worked at Pharmacia and began his career in research at Somatogen, a start-up focused on a recombinant blood substitute.
