About Beatrice Vetter

Beatrice joined FIND in 2018 and is currently Director of the Non-communicable Diseases (NCD) Programme. In this role, she is responsible for shaping FIND’s NCD portfolio, currently focusing on technology and market access initiatives for quality and affordable tools for diabetes and cardiometabolic conditions. Prior to joining FIND, Beatrice spent 15 years in the medical field of academia and industry, working for the Imperial College London Diabetes Centre in the UAE, the Swiss National Reference Centre for Retroviruses and Roche Diagnostics. Her technical and business understanding of in vitro diagnostics (IVD) and experience in the public and private sector have resulted in critical evaluations of IVDs and constructive engagements with industry to address quality and access barriers to fit-for-purpose diagnostic.

She holds a PhD in medical research from University College London.
