About Ewurama Owusu

Ewurama has worked with FIND since 2018 in various capacities, initially as WHO/TDR Clinical Research and Development Fellow, then as a consultant on various malaria projects alongside academia. She is currently a Scientific Officer in the Pneumonia and Fever Team. Her background is in malaria diagnostics, One-Health, outbreaks and clinical trials, and has a PhD in Infectious Diseases from the University of Amsterdam in the Netherlands. Ewurama is also a certified project management professional from the Project Management Institute (PMI), USA, having managed multi-disciplinary projects in a multicultural environment. She has over 10 years’ experience in research and capacity building activities in Africa, Asia and Oceania and is driven by her passion to contribute to the improvement of infectious disease diagnosis in low resource settings.
