About Shaukat Khan

Shaukat joined FIND in October 2022 as Director of Strategic Information. Prior to joining FIND, Shaukat spent eight years at the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI), where he oversaw implementation and research strategy for HIV, HPV, TB, and COVID-19 diagnostics across Africa and Asia. He has multi-disciplinary work experience which includes working as an Equity Research Associate at Maxim Group in New York and a Post-doctoral Research Fellow at New York University School of Medicine, where he investigated biological therapeutics for various rheumatological diseases.

Shaukat started his career in Public Health as a Peace Corps Volunteer in rural Morocco. His work experience in Africa and Asia has shaped him to be flexible and nimble in responding to ever-changing challenges in public health, as well as in working within and across teams. His goal is to bring the most effective diagnostic interventions and innovations to scale across multiple disease areas and geographies.

Shaukat earned his Ph.D. from the Stony Brook University, M.Sc. in Epidemiology from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, and a Certificate in Financial Analysis from New York University School of Continuing and Professional Studies.
