About Valérie Barbe

Valérie joined FIND in 2013 and is currently Accountant and Payroll Officer at the organization. She joined FIND following a five-year stint as Accounting Assistant in a family office in Geneva.

She did her accounting studies in France, receiving her diploma “Brevet de technicien supérieur en comptabilité et gestion d’Entreprise” in 1988. For the next two years, she studied at the University of Grenoble preparing for a diploma in accounting and finance (DECF). During this period, Valérie was offered a post as Junior Accountant in a French Fiduciary in Ferney-Voltaire.

In 1992, she moved with her family to Hong-Kong and three years later to Massachusetts where she and her husband raised their two children. In 2002, the family returned to France and Valérie spent the next five years working as an administrative and accounting assistant in a French Fiduciary in Annemasse.
