Christine joined FIND in May 2019 and is currently working as part of the Data Services and Biobanking team as well as the TB Seq&Treat project team. She provides bioinformatics support to FIND’s clinical trials across all disease programmes and to next-generation sequencing workflows for drug-resistant TB diagnosis.

Christine holds a PhD in Bioinformatics from the University Claude Bernard – Lyon 1 (France). She has over 25 years’ experience working in clinical and research settings, developing bioinformatics tools and databases to manage, analyse and publish life science data in many different fields, ranging from population genetics, proteomics, genomics, biobanking and clinical data management.

She also has experience working in international and multicultural environments, not only in academia – the Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics and Geneva University in Switzerland, the QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute in Australia – but also in small biotech industry such as Novimmune SA.
