FIND appoints Henri Mwaniki as Chief Financial Officer

The FIND Board are pleased to have appointed Mr Henri Mwaniki as the Chief Financing Officer (CFO) and will take over the functions of Chief Operations Officer in accordance with FIND’s statutes and by-laws. Following over 17 years at KPMG, Mr Mwaniki has bought extensive knowledge of non-profit financing governance to FIND. As Chief Financial Officer, Mr Mwaniki oversees FIND’s financial operations, ensuring that FIND is equipped to achieve its mission to close the diagnostics gap.

As a Director at KPMG, Mr Mwaniki led audit and advisory engagements for a variety of NGO’s, public-private partnerships and charities, including the World Bank, Gavi and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies. He has also collaborated with Unitaid, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the United Nations High Commissioners for Refugees (UNHCR), culminating in a deep understanding of donor expectations and the financial challenges faced by the non-profit sector. He has also led assignments across Africa and Asia to support donor-funded programmes, demonstrating his thorough knowledge of the country-specific challenges FIND addresses.
