Marking the first year of the cervical cancer elimination movement

On 17 November 2021, WHO marked the first anniversary of the launch of the global strategy to accelerate the elimination of cervical cancer as a public health problem. The three targets include 70% of women screened with a high-performance test by 35 years of age and again by 45 years of age. FIND launched a new initiative to improve cervical cancer testing and screening using innovative technologies in low- and middle-income countries, to help meet that goal.
