About Dorcas Mapondera

Dorcas Mapondera serves as Chief of Staff and Head of External Affairs at FIND. In this role she oversees the Communications, Partnerships and Resource Mobilization functions.

Dorcas has worked in global health for more than 20 years, including for the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, UNAIDS and, more recently, for CEPI, where she managed a portfolio of over US$450 million. Her roles have focused on providing strategic advice to executive management, building and managing partnerships with donor and implementing governments, civil society, and key decision makers.

Dorcas has a B.Sc in Political Science from the University of Zimbabwe,  a B.A. in law from the University of Law, London and an M.A. in Development Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies, London.
