Schistosomiasis, which affects almost 240 Mio people, is a highly prevalent parasitic disease in sub-Saharan Africa, and one of the most damaging tropical diseases in terms of public health burden and economic impact.  Transformative health solutions as well as innovative access mechanisms are needed to fight schistosomiasis.
