ASA Annual Meeting 2021

The ASA Annual Meeting is the largest gathering of Africanist scholars in the world and is the flagship event of the African Studies Association.

On 19 November, 12:00–13:45 ET, Sonjelle Shilton, Hepatitis Lead, will chair a panel session on “Self-Testing for COVID-19: Are African Communities Prepared to be Key Actors in Case Detection?”. Speakers will include lead qualitative researchers from partner organizations who will provide preliminary results from our COVID-19 values and preferences study being conducted in several African countries: Kenya (ICRH), Malawi (HNTI), Nigeria (Ile-Ife University), South Africa (AA&D).
