High-level EU-Africa Green Investment Forum

This health (and Covid-19) session aims to discuss financing for the health sector, which is particularly relevant for addressing the Covid-19 pandemic. Various financial instruments have come into place in different countries to provide financing solutions to governments as well as private enterprises that enable them to develop new technologies and solutions to tackle the adverse effects of the pandemic and benefit climate action. This panel aims to take a closer look at these initiatives and assess how they helped support health systems and provide emergency assistance as well as long term solutions.
