Information session on diagnostics and the ACT-Accelerator

Global Health Technologies Coalition (GHTC) and the Pandemic Action Network (PAN) Funding and Access to COVID-19 Tools Working Group are offering an information session on diagnostics and the Access to COVID-19 Tools (ACT) Accelerator.

Date & time: Wednesday, 3 March 2021, 9:00 ET

As part of the ongoing effort to stay informed about the rapidly evolving concerns related to COVID-19, GHTC and PAN are hosting an information session on the diagnostics pillar of the ACT-Accelerator. The informal information session aims to clarify for advocates, both in donor and in low- and middle-income countries, the critical importance of tests and the reasons for having a fully-funded ACT-A diagnostics (Dx) pillar.

Emma Hannay (Chief Access Officer, FIND) and Amy Toporowski (Senior Programme Manager ACT-Accelerator Diagnostics Pillar, FIND) will provide an overview of the current priorities of the Dx pillar, the challenges that lie ahead and the current funding gaps.
