MICROTAS 2019

Miniaturized Systems for Chemistry and Life Sciences, or MicroTAS, facilitates yearly conferences for reporting results in microfluidics, microfabrication, nanotechnology, integration, materials and surfaces, analysis and synthesis, and detection technologies for life science and chemistry.

The MicroTAS Industrial Forum —How to bring research from the bench to the bedside— will raise questions such as what does it take to go from ideas and the bench to the bedside, what are the pitfalls, and what can we learn from experienced pioneers and end-users. These questions will be addressed by Holger Becker from Microfluidic Chip-Shop as Moderator, along with Xavier Ding, Malaria Team Leader at FIND, Martin Kopp, Senior Program Manager working on Innovation and Research at Roche diagnostics, Vincent Linder, a Biomedical Consultant, and Oliver Nolte, Clinical Microbiologist leading the Human Microbiology Department of the Center for Laboratory Medicine in St. Gallen, Switzerland.

You all are cordially invited to attend this Industrial Forum.

Date & time: 27–31 October 2019, 11:20-12:20
