About Rita Székely

Rita joined FIND in 2017 and is currently Scientific and Clinical Quality Officer. She supports the TB team with the management of clinical trials and fulfilling the requirements of ISO certification.

Rita has more than 10 years’ experience in tuberculosis research in both industry and academia. Prior to joining FIND, she worked for Vichem Chemie Ltd and was Marie Curie fellow at EPFL-Global Health Institute. She participated in several international drug discovery projects where she was responsible for scientific and general project management. She also has experience with IVDs and a special interest in clinical trials.

Rita obtained her MSc in Bioengineering and MSc in Biomedical Engineering from the Technical University of Budapest and her PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Semmelweis University. She studied Clinical Trial Management at the University of Geneva.
