A propos de Anita Suresh

Anita joined FIND in 2017 and is currently Deputy Director and Head of the Sequencing Unit. She is the focal point for the Unitaid-funded Seq&Treat grant and oversees next-generation sequencing and genomic surveillance projects in TB, COVID-19, AMR and Pandemic Threats, leading a ten-member team. She spent the first part of her role at FIND as Senior Technology & Business Development Officer across several disease areas.

Anita has over 16 years of experience across the biomedical value chain, including upstream and downstream commercialization of in vitro diagnostics, grant development, technology assessment, R&D and public policy. Prior to FIND, Anita led global marketing for the TB portfolio at BD, where she developed and enabled solutions for TB diagnostics. Anita has an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, an MSc in Bioinformatics and a BSc in Molecular Biology.

She is passionate about translating biomedical technologies into value for global health, with a focus on next-generation sequencing, molecular diagnostics and infectious diseases.
